What worked was documentation‿ an(d) structure. My father took screenshots,│ blocked the account,│ an(d) reported‿ it formally. The school contacted the parents,│ and‿ it stopped‿ in‿ a week. In my country,│ threatening somebody online‿ is now covered by legislation,│ and‿ a bystander│ who forwards the material‿ is‿ accountable too. If‿ I could change one thing,│ it would be the repor(t) mechanism‿ on the platforms themselves,│ which‿ are designed to be slow. A victim should not have to^hafta prove that the abuse was serious│ before‿ it‿ is removed.
