UNIT 3: ENTERTAINMENT
My name‿ is Julia,│ an(d) music‿ is part‿ of my whole day. I put‿ on‿ a playlist│ while‿ I am cooking,│ and‿ I listen to backgroun(d) music│ when‿ I am working. It depends‿ on my mood:│ in the morning‿ I need something loud,│ and‿ in the evening‿ I prefer something quiet.
My taste‿ is quite wide. I grew up with rock,│ because my father played the guitar,│ an(d) he also made me learn the piano for six years. I hated‿ it‿ at the time,│ but now I am grateful. Las(t) summer,│ I wen(t) to a live concert‿ in‿ an‿ ol(d) factory. There were 2,000 people,│ an(d) the soun(d) was terrible,│ but the atmosphere was‿ amazing.
My brother‿ is‿ a real music fan. He goes to a gig‿ almost‿ every month,│ an(d) he knows the lyrics‿ of hundreds‿ of songs. He says the melody is more‿ importan(t) than the words,│ and‿ I disagree:│ a catchy song with stupid lyrics‿ is still‿ a bad song. If you want towanna know what somebody is really like,│ ask them what they listen to│ when nobody is watching.
