UNIT 3: ENTERTAINMENT
My name‿ is Paul,│ and‿ I watch‿ a film‿ almost‿ every evening. My wife says‿ I am‿ addicted,│ but Ibud I say I am jus(t) tired│ after work. I prefer films based‿ on true stories,│ and‿ I always read the review│ before‿ I start.
We have differen(t) tastes. She loves long series with‿ a complicated plot,│ an(d) she can watch‿ a whole season‿ in‿ a weekend. I usually turn‿ off│ after three episodes. I like‿ a film that finishes‿ in two hours‿ an(d) stays‿ in my head for‿ a week. Las(t) month,│ I saw a French film with subtitles,│ and‿ although I did not know any of the actors,│ it was one‿ of the bes(t) things‿ I have seen this yearthish year.
My son has‿ a different‿ opinion‿ again. He says the sequels‿ are betterbe-der than the originals,│ an(d) he only watches films‿ in‿ English without subtitles to practise. The character he likes best‿ is‿ a talking robot. I do not‿ always‿ agree with (h)im,│ but Ibud I have tohafta admit that films give‿ us something to talk‿ about‿ at dinner. If you want towanna recommend‿ a film to me,│ choose‿ a serious one,│ with‿ a good main role│ an(d) no explosions.
