UNIT 9: TRAVELING AND CULTURE
My name‿ is Peter. I travel‿ abroad two or three times‿ a year,│ usually with my wife. In January,│ we book‿ a flight‿ and‿ a hotel,│ and‿ I buy a guidebook,│ because‿ I like to plan.
Las(t) summer,│ we wen(t) to Japan for two weeks. We packed light:│ one small bag‿ each. The flight was‿ eleven‿ hours,│ an(d) the jet lag was terrible for three days. We did‿ a lot ofa lotta sightseeing:│ temples,│ markets,│ and‿ a small town‿ in the mountains.
The culture shock was‿ interesting,│ not bad. People were very polite,│ and‿ everything was clean. My wife loved the food,│ and‿ I loved the trains. My nex(t) trip‿ is to Mexico,│ but this time‿ I want towanna go without‿ a plan.
