Winning the lottery

My name‿ is Rita. Every Friday,│ my husban(d) buys one lottery ticket. He has never won more than ten dollars,│ but he says,│ "Somebody wins the jackpot. Why not me?"

If we won‿ a million,│ our life would change very suddenly. I would give‿ away some money to my relatives,│ and‿ I would be generous with my sister's children. But I^{bud I} would not spen(d) quickly,│ because‿ I read‿ about winners│ who lose‿ everything‿ in five years.

We would‿ inves(t) carefully,│ pay for‿ our house,│ an(d) keep‿ our jobs for one more year. My husban(d) says he would buy a boat. I say,│ "You hate the sea!" We are lucky in‿ other ways,│ so we do not need the lottery. But one ticket‿ is fun.
