UNIT 7: SPORTS
My name‿ is Vera. Two years‿ ago,│ I tried skydiving for the firs(t) time. I was very nervous,│ and‿ I almos(t) said no. My frien(d) said,│ "Come‿ on,│ you will love‿ it!"
We put‿ on special‿ equipment‿ and‿ a helmet,│ an(d) we jumped from 4,000 meters. For ten seconds,│ I could not think‿ about‿ anything. Then‿ everything was quiet‿ an(d) beautiful. It was the best‿ adventure‿ of my life.
Extreme sports‿ are risky,│ but safety rules‿ are very good now. Surfing‿ is my nex(t) plan,│ and‿ I want towanna try it‿ in Portugal. My mother thinks‿ all these sports‿ are dangerous,│ an(d) she worries. I understand,│ but Ibud I try out one new sport‿ every year.
