UNIT 7: SPORTS
My name‿ is Julia. My son‿ is nine years‿ old,│ an(d) he plays‿ in‿ a children's team. They practice twice‿ a week,│ an(d) they have‿ a match‿ on Saturdays.
When he started,│ he was shy,│ but now he has more confidence,│ an(d) he has made many friends. The coach‿ is patient│ an(d) he says,│ "Take part,│ enjoy the game,│ an(d) do not worry about winning." Some parents forget that,│ an(d) they shout from the side.
Sport‿ is good for children,│ but the timetable‿ is busy:│ school,│ homework,│ practice. My daughterdau-der does not like team sports,│ so she swims‿ on Wednesdays. I think‿ every chil(d) should try one sport,│ but‿ it mus(t) be fun.
