UNIT 6: SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE INTERNET
My name‿ is‿ Alex. I use two social media apps,│ and‿ I have‿ about 400 followers. In the morning,│ I post‿ a photo│ an(d) then‿ I scroll for 20 minutes│ before breakfast.
Las(t) year,│ I was‿ almost‿ addicted. I checked notifications‿ every five minutes,│ and‿ I wasted two hours‿ a day. My girlfrien(d) said,│ "You are‿ always‿ on your phone." She was right,│ so I deleted one‿ app.
Now I use social media for one‿ hour‿ a day. I still follow two influencers,│ an(d) sometimes‿ I share funny videos. But Ibud I never post‿ about my family,│ because‿ I worry about privacy. My real friends call me,│ and‿ I like that more.
