Hospitals‿ and‿ illnesses

Last winter^win-der,│ I fel(t) terrible for‿ a week. I had‿ a headache and‿ a cough,│ an(d) my whole body hurt. On Thursday,│ my wife made‿ an‿ appointmen(t) with the doctor for the nex(t) morning.

In the waiting^wai-ding room,│ I waited for 40 minutes. Then‿ a nurse checked my temperature,│ an(d) the doctor‿ asked‿ about my symptoms. She said‿ it was the flu,│ an(d) she gave me a prescription for some medicine.

The treatmen(t) was simple:│ rest,│ water^wa-der,│ an(d) three days‿ in bed. After‿ a week,│ I started to recover. Now I have‿ a check-up‿ every year,│ and‿ I get better^be-der much faster│ when‿ I am‿ ill,│ because‿ I eat well│ an(d) sleep‿ enough.
