UNIT 10: SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
My neighbor has‿ a new electric car. It‿ is very quiet. I do not hear‿ it‿ in the street,│ only the wheels‿ on the road.
He charges the battery at home‿ every night. It‿ is cheap:│ about five dollars for 300 kilometers,│ an(d) he does not buy gas. He says,│ "I drive to work‿ every day,│ and‿ I never stop‿ at‿ a gas station."
Electric cars‿ are more‿ expensive than normal cars‿ at the start. But they are cheaper to drive,│ an(d) they are good for the air‿ in the cityci-dy. In the future,│ I think‿ all cars will be electric.
