My name‿ is David. I am‿ a parent. I have two kids,│ a son‿ and‿ a daughterdau-der. My son‿ is ten,│ an(d) my daughterdau-der‿ is six. Being‿ a parent‿ is har(d) work,│ but Ibud I love‿ it.
I wan(t) my kids to be kind‿ an(d) happy. I teach them to say please‿ an(d) thank you. I ask them to help‿ at home. They make their beds│ an(d) put their toys‿ away. When they do a good job,│ I say,│ "Nice work!"
My kids watch me every day,│ so I try to be a good‿ example. I am nice to people,│ and‿ I work hard. I also listen to my kids. I ask‿ about school‿ an(d) their friends. When they are sad,│ I give them‿ a big hug. That‿ is the most‿ importan(t) thing for me.
